PERSONAL STATEMENT

Benjamin Brockman is the Co-Owner and Clinical Director of New Perspective Counseling Services, a thriving group therapy practice in Frisco, Texas.

Benjamin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and LPC-Supervisor in the state of Texas. He received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Central Missouri State University and his Masters of Arts in Counseling from Saint Louis University. Additionally, Benjamin is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is a Certified DBT Clinician through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification. He is also a member of the DBT Treatment Team at New Perspective Counseling Services.

Benjamin works with his clients on the issues that are important to them, helping clients to clarify their insights, and then develop and execute a plan to address the issues for which they are seeking counseling. Benjamin provides counseling services to individuals over the age of 16 and has experience working with clients struggling with issues related to divorce, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and child/adolescent behavior problems. He offers both DBT-Adherent and DBT-Informed treatments fr individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder and emotion regulation issues. Benjamin is bilingual and provides counseling sessions in both English and Spanish.
